ALBENGA, pre-Roman city, offers tourists a cultural really interesting.
In the historical center of St. Michael's Cathedral which stands on the site of the early Christian, alongside the early Christian baptistery with wonderful mosaics, the museum Ingauno and Roman naval museum, the Diocesan Museum and the tower.
Palazzo Oddo, one of the many noble buildings of the city, hosts an exhibition of Roman glasses among the most comprehensive in the world with the famous blue plate. The scenic walk on the Via Julia Augusta winds through archaeological excavations and the remains of a Roman amphitheater.
You can not 'forget to visit the St. George church (XII century) is filled with frescoes of medieval painting Ligurian more frescoes (1446) with scenes of the Last Judgement.

DISCOVER THE HINTERLAND
The fascinating hinterland of Liguria is extremely close to the seafront and very easily accessible. It is full of environmental and cultural places of interest and is the ideal destination for those who want to combine their seaside holiday with some hill walking.
